The bait is very compact, making it great for long casts. It's good to leave the head on when the fish are not biting. Placing the bait on so its legs face outward, makes it stay on the hook better. It also spreads out its legs making it look bigger and more appealing. This is the best way to bait the hook, when you want to leave the head and tail on the bait.
