While it is possible to catch fish with only a SABIKI in areas where there are a lot of fish, you can catch them more efficiently by getting the fish to gather in one place using attractant bait. Fish are always attracted to attractant baits, so it is safe to say they are a necessary item when fishing. You can increase the activity of the fish by using attractant bait. As the fish fight over eating the bait, their wariness decreases and as a result you have hope of a big catch.

Frozen shrimp and krill can be used as an attractant bait by itself, however in this case the shrimp and krill fall out of the basket too easily. By mixing it with powder baits that contain aromatic and glowing ingredients, the extract containing a large amount of shrimp and krill ingredients is absorbed by the powder. As a result, highly attractive ingredients can be released in a cloud from the basket for a longer time to entice the fish. Also for those who don't like the smell of shrimp on their hands, we recommend using bait products that can be placed in the basket without dirtying your hands.

	The most common fish would be smaller types of horse mackerel, mackerel and sardines, but you can also catch blackfish and red sea bream. Also if you attach an UKI (float) and cast it a little further, you can target bigger types of horse mackerel and mackerel.

When fish are highly active and moving around, it is better to use the under basket style where there is no trouble in actively attracting the fish. However when there are few signs of fish in a fishing area, the over basket style is recommended as it is easier to use the rig together with attractant bait. As there are regional differences, it is best to try to change the position of the basket when you are not catching any fish.

	Instead of casting a large amount of attractant bait at one time, it is more effective to cast it gradually a number of times. Also when using attractant bait in a basket, it is best to only fill it up to 80%. Packing the basket full of bait makes it difficult for it to be emitted and as a result you cannot attract as many fish.

Firstly you should check whether the SABIKI is at the same depth as where the fish are. Each type of fish swims at a different depth, so it is important to think of and search for an appropriate depth where you can catch fish. If you still can't catch any fish, it is possible that the size of the hook is too big. You should try a smaller hook, or change the kind of SABIKI you are using depending on the conditions at the time.
