HOOK BAIT |
|
It is important to use a rotation of hook baits when DANGO fishing. Krill is usually used as a hook bait, however in areas with a lot of smaller fish they can eat it before it reaches the target fish. In this case you will need a stronger hook bait to deal with these smaller fish. The size of fish you catch can depend on the type of hook bait you use, so we recommend preparing a variety of hook baits when you go fishing.
Silkworm chrysalis and corn baits are more useful in avoiding smaller fish near the water surface. You can ensure the bait stays on the hook longer by putting more than one on the hook. It can also be more effective to add both silkworm chrysalis and corn on the same hook. |
